CIR can recycle up to 6 inches of asphalt base (8 for new machines). This fixes structural issues over twice the depth of a 3” mill and fill resulting in longer life for your road. Additionally, CIR eliminates over 4,200 loaded dump truck miles (and 4,200 unloaded miles) per project mile compared to a 3” mill and fill. (The Generalized Fourth Power Law impact of a fully loaded dump truck compared to a 5,000 pound BEV passenger vehicle is 1,385.) Less dump truck miles helps drive a lower whole-life asset cost for the roads in your community.

Roads can remain open during CIR construction jobs and lanes are drivable immediately after compaction. Machinery moving at 12 to 16 foot per minute means faster completions and less disruption for your community residents.
